The land, approximately 2 square meters, locates in the centre North, Hualong, Panyu District, Guangzhou, sized 1.39 × 1.43 m.
Starting from August, 2013, an official lease contract of the 2 square meters land has been set up between me and Vitamin Creative Space. I identify it as the land that I am going to constantly keep an eye on.
I am going to look after the leased land by preserving the original condition of the land as far as possible. In one sense, any form of human activities will be prohibited from now on.
Keep it as it is. Let it develop its very own ecosphere.
I will be the spectator from now on, persistently carry out observation, witnessing the changes on its physicality and the biological niche without interfering the nature;
We did the first detailed observation in August, 2013 and have the initial stage documented in the form of videos and images, while we have the extracted soil sample sent to laboratory for soil test and analysis.
I will inspect the land according to the routine schedule.

As long as life endures I will carry out the inspection myself, covering the aspects of the biological, physical and chemical condition. The documentation involves detailed observation, photographic images, extended narration of the land and recording the activities of the living things alongside with the laboratory report of both the organic and the inorganic components of the land.
After my pass-away, I would like to ask our later generations carrying on the project, at the same time I would like to have the support from Vitamin and its heirs;
I would like to call on the landlord not to interfere the status of the land. Please respect the artist’s will, continue with the study and fight against any plans of alteration. Let the little crust show its self-sustainability.
